EQA is a non-profit organisation and has a non-profit purpose to promote contact amongst quilters in member countries and to share information and knowledge with quilters and in general.
EQA aims also to promote Quilting and Patchwork as an art form and to make Quilt more widely known to a wide audience.
And will do this also through cooperation with their members.
The European Quilt Association is open to all the national guilds of the countries in Europe.
Membership shall be open to one national guild per country, which is a not-for-profit non-commercial organisation in agreement with the aims of the EQA, and willing to comply with the conditions as set out in these Statutes. Each national guild will be represented by the international representative (IR), physical person.
A national guild that wishes to join the EQA shall send a letter of application together with the Guild’s Statutes and English translation to the EQA Board for consideration.
As an individual, you can become an EQA member by joining one of the member guilds of EQA. Once you are a member of a member guild of EQA, you are automatically member of EQA.
